As years go by, bridal looks tend to change for my clients. About 10 years ago, most of my clients wanted a bold glam look, complete with glitter and metallic finishes. These days, our most requested look is a softer, enhanced natural look. Based on this updated look for my clients, below is a list of my most used eyeshadow colors for 2022 so far.
Most Used Eyeshadow Colors
- Kiko Highly Pigmented Eyeshadow in 60 – the perfect iridescent color that makes for an amazing smokey eye
- Viseart Blush – I tend to use this for my natural brides on the outer corner of the eye
- Viseart Cotton Candy – a soft pink for my natural brides
- Viseart Framboise – a deeper pink perfect for natural brides
- MAC Pigment Naked – this is my favorite pigment for bridal clients who are going for a more natural look. Has a bit of sparkle for extra oomph; however, the sparkle doesn’t take over the beauty of it.
- MAC Pigment Old Gold – a copperish gold with a hint of green, which works the best with my South Asian brides.
- Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy – this is eyeliner glitter that I use for my bold brides who want an all over glitter sparkle on their eyes.
- NARS Hardwired Eyeshadow in Galapagos – for my bold glam brides. This has a bit of sparkle in it, and I tend to use this for the outer corner of the eye.
There you have it – my top picks for bridal eyeshadows for this wedding season. I have plenty of others, however these are the ones that need constant replacement. When choosing eyeshadows, I go through rigorous testing and make sure that these have durability and non-creasing effect for at least 12 hours. These hold up to my tests.
